Alcanea Boutique Hotel is a 4-star accommodation located in the Old Town of Chania, Crete, within the historic port area. The hotel occupies a former Venetian-period building that served as the office of statesman Eleftherios Venizelos. It was fully restored in 2011 with respect for its architectural heritage. The property offers eight individually designed rooms, including doubles and a family room for four guests, accessible via a staircase. Guests can enjoy common terraces and patios, hand-carved stone facades, ceramics, and woodwork that blend tradition with modern comforts. The hotel is situated in a pedestrianized zone, so there is no private parking, but free municipal parking is available at Talos Square, a short walk away. Note that the hotel is on the waterfront.
